Watchdog can be your new best friend

Visionary Watchdog Monitoring Service uses a single, light-weight piece of software installed on your Mac, which the Visionary technical team uses to monitor for many common issues, and notify you by email when necessary. For years now, we’ve seen a change in technology support, shifting from a reactive, “break/fix” model to a more proactive, monitored model where issues can be identified and corrected before they cause a loss of productivity. The tools have matured, the process has simplified, and the costs have plummeted, and so we’ve rolled out a comprehensive bundle of services at a price anyone can afford.

Why it’s a gift - Do you make New Year’s resolutions? I make business resolutions every year too, but they typically come a little later in the year, just before our annual Apple Conference in March. At last year’s conference, Managed Services like our Watchdog were all the rage and I decided that I’d have it all figured out by the next conference. January came and I still didn’t have it all worked out, so I put the axe to the grindstone and had our Watchdog service fully baked by our Apple Conference! However…when I went and compared notes with my fellow dealers I quickly realized that I’d made a big mistake: compared to every other dealer I spoke with, we offered more services at lower pricing! Watchdog is $120 per year for your first computer and $99 for additional ones. Most of these guys are charging $19 per month (or more), which means we are underpricing it by a factor of two or more! Had I delayed it, I might have priced it more appropriately but my rush to market is your gain! I’m not changing the pricing to match other dealers. I know Watchdog is an incredible bundle of services and I’m hopeful that it will spread in our customer base like wildfire because of the value proposition it offers.
