Get your free service before the clock expires…

Apple makes some incredible products. And, being the upfront, honest, and reputable company they are, in those rare cases when there is an unexpected issue they have a system in place to provide customers with service. Apple often calls these events “Apple Service Programs” and there are a number of affected devices. Below is a link to the complete list Apple has on their public facing site. As an Apple Authorized Service Provider, Visionary Computer is able to provide service for all of the current Service Programs.

The issue I want to make customers aware of is that often these Service Programs do have an expiration date. It’s typically very generous, but there is a date nonetheless. It can be very frustrating to have a customer come in for a repair of a known issue but unable to get it covered because their device has “aged out” of eligibility. For example, the Keyboard Service Program for MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro is good for up to four years from the original sale date, but many of the affected computers are now older than that! If you have an issue with your Apple device which is covered, be sure to get your item in for your free service before your eligibility window closes. Feel free to email us with questions, just be sure to include your serial number so we can look up your device and purchase history (whether or not you bought it from us).
