COVID notice, Visionary Computer
/We’ve been exceedingly lucky. For almost two years, we’ve been open non-stop during the pandemic without a single case among our staff. Even in those early days when Apple was closed and they were sending people up to see us in droves, we managed to stay open and safe. Unfortunately, the latest wave has taken it’s toll and several Visionary staff members have tested positive for Covid-19 despite all being fully vaccinated (and some even boosted.) As a result, we’re making the following immediate short-term modifications:
1.) We will be open for quick transactional business only. No appointments, our showroom will be cleared of demo product. We will still sell items but you must know what you want or dialog with us via phone or email, no in-person sales chats.
2.) We have extremely limited technical staff. We are processing repairs as quickly as possible but our normal one to two day spin is considerably longer. As members of my technical team come out of quarantine, the delay will shrink but right now, new repairs are looking at five to seven days.
3.) All on-site service and carry-in appointments are temporarily postponed. We can schedule limited remote support but we’re not going into customers homes or businesses for the next week or more.
4.) Masks will be required at all times when in our store.
5.) While the prevailing science suggests the transmission of Covid-19 is primarily aerosol, we will be disinfecting our workspaces and all devices to minimize any transmission.
Hopefully this will pass soon and we can get back to delivering the full suite of services we provide. I thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. Additional information and updates will be posted on our web site and Facebook page.
Stay healthy, be safe, be kind, take care of each other.
