The guide below lists the hardware, software, warranty, and recommended accessories that we suggest for your student. Install School Bundle - Millbrook School has put together a bundle of software designed around maximizing your technology purchase. For a small fee, Visionary Computer will setup your user account, install this bundle of software settings and applications onto your Mac, and perform all system software updates needed. Included in the bundle is a license of Microsoft Office 365. Office 365 gives you the industry standard Microsoft Word for word processing, Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and number crunching, and Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations. Additionally, we will deliver your new Mac to school so it’s ready for pickup right on campus. (Shipping to your home also available at an additional fee) - $99
Warranty:
AppleCare + for Mac - Every Mac comes with one year of hardware repair coverage through its limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary support. AppleCare+ for Mac extends your coverage to three years from the original purchase date of your Mac and adds unlimited incidents of accidental damage coverage, each subject to a service fee of $99 for screen damage or external enclosure damage, or $299 for other damage, plus applicable tax. AppleCare+ for Mac is honored at any of Apple’s authorized service locations across the country and even across the globe. - $179.95 (M2) or $199.95 (M3)
Accessories:
Backup Drive - In order to be safe, data needs to be in at least two places at all times. Learning the lesson about keeping a good backup is something we feel must be learned early. Each Mac comes with Apple’s excellent Time Machine Software, all you need is an external drive upon which to store your data. - $99.95
