Effective January 1st 2023 we’re revising our excellent data migration service offerings. Our migrations are the process of simplifying moving from your older computer to your new one. We spend more time on migrations than any other service we offer and over the decades, we’ve become experts at this process. In 2023 we’re updating our process to better match customer’s needs and actually increase customer satisfaction with the process.

Being fully backed up is critically important for every Mac user. Effective January 1st 2023, Visionary Computer will ask each customer at every Mac service event about their backup status. Customers can choose from three options

Effective January 1st 2023 scheduled in-store appointments and all remote support sessions (scheduled or ad-hoc) will have a quarter hour minimum charge ($32.50.) In many cases, our expert staff can resolve issues in less than the quarter hour, customers are welcome to use up the balance of the time or simply get back to their day quicker thanks to the expert help they have received.

Effective January 1st 2023 the hourly rate for service is $130. While this is a small increase from last year, it’s still the lowest hourly rate we are aware of from any Apple Premier Partner. We also offer a 30% discount on remote support service for customers who subscribe to our Watchdog Service making that offering an even better value.

For several years, we’ve offered low cost rental Macs to use while your Mac is being serviced. Effective January 1st 2023 we are upgrading our rental fleet offering M1 and M2 based options for the best performance, compatibility and security.

Sometime today, Monday October 24th, Apple will release the new Macintosh Operating System called macOS Ventura. For the past several years, we’ve seen Apple develop a pattern of minor followed by major new releases. It is my opinion that Ventura is neither minor nor major, rather it’s somewhere in the middle.
